Bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Master’s degree in Documentation from the Universidad San Pablo (CEU). She has participated in several terminological and documentary projects. In 1996 she started to work for the Real Academia Española (RAE) for the elaboration of the Corpus de Referencia del Español Actual (CREA). Later she joined the Instituto de Lexicografía at the RAE and took part in the preparation of the 22.^nd and 23.^rd editions of the Diccionario de la lengua Española and the Diccionario esencial. From 2004 she is member of the Unidad de Terminología Médica of the Real Academia Nacional de Medicina. She has contributed to the drafting and compilation of the Diccionario de términos médicos and is currently working on the new Diccionario panhispánico de términos medicos.
