José A. Rodriguez Portales, MD, MACP. Endocrinologist, Professor of Medicine at the P. Catholic University of Chile. He has held the following positions: President of the Chilean Endocrine Society, President of the Chilean Society of Internal Medicine, Governor of the Chile Chapter of the American College of Physicians, Member of the Board of Regents and Chairman of the International Council, American College of Physicians. Elected as Life Member of the Chilean Academy of Medicine. Author of the textbook Endocrinología Clínica, many chapters in books and over 120 papers published in national and international journals of his specialty.
